Sultan International Holding has today entered into a joint venture agreement with DropbyDrop, an Australian based water policy and governance consultancy, to offer water policy & governance advice in the UAE.

In mid-February, DropbyDrop’s Managing Director Ruxandra Lazarescu participated in the Victorian Government Trade Mission to the UAE led by the Honorable Louise Asher, whose portfolio includes small business, as part of the Mission’s Water and Infrastructure Group.

“We presented to Director Al Mulla and his team at the Ministry of Environment and Water on the use of legal frameworks in managing water challenges.  Based on the Ministry’s positive response, we were encouraged to identify a local partner to make our services available in the UAE.  We are honored to partner with Sultan International Holding, and look forward to making a valuable contribution locally.”

Sultan International Holding is a diversified holding company representing the business interests of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan al Nahyan and has broad interests spanning the range of economic activity in the UAE.

Dropbydrop offers advice, research, training and facilitation on water policy and governance. Its head quarters are in Melbourne, Australia and its core team comprises Ruxandra Lazarescu, Mohamad Mova Al Afghani, Asmae El Idrissi and Ricardo Santos. In the UAE it is supported by Business Development Manager Sina Fattahi.  Further information is available at www.dropbydrop.com.au
